24 Sep More Table Tennis Success for Kenny Cloke!
Kenny was selected to represent N.I. for the Sainsburys National Schools Table Tennis games in Sheffield 12-15th Sept, in standing section of disability group. It was a huge honour and experience, as the Games were run as professionally as the Olympics but in a smaller scale, complete with opening and closing ceremony.
The NI table tennis team had their successes; the girls took Bronze and also an individual Bronze. Kenny was the youngest competitor at 12 and was playing 18 and 19 year old competitors at 6 ft tall, but while he did not win a medal he contributed to the team and enjoyed his first games. He hopes to return next year a year older and wiser and win GOLD!
