Year 10 Games Students Are Treated To A Volleyball Olympics

On 6th March the year 12 Sport Studies students delivered the sports event that they had been planning with Michael McKillop.  Over the past eight weeks the students have been working hard on the planning stage of the event.  This involved having structured meetings and taking decisions on the way they hoped their event would go.  Their efforts culminated in a successful event that relied on them working together as a team and putting the six keys to success into action;

  1. Mental toughness
  2. Hunger to achieve
  3. People skills
  4. Sports and life knowledge
  5. Breaking barriers
  6. Planning for success

As can be seen from the photographs a great atmosphere was created for the students taking part, in which mixed teams were encouraged to try the sport of volleyball in a fun and safe environment.

Congratulations to all involved,

Yours in Sport,

Mr Spratt
