Success For Ulidia Students At Environmental Youth Speak Competition

Success For Ulidia Students At Environmental Youth Speak Competition

Two students from Ulidia Integrated College attended the annual Environmental Youth Speak event at Carrickfergus Town Hall on Tuesday 24th February 2015. The students were Niambh Ogle and Callum Blunt from Year 10.

The students spoke on the topic ‘food glorious food – why waste it?’ Both students spoke very clearly and presented well written and well-reasoned speeches.

Overall Callum came second in the competition, and Niambh came first; this was a fantastic result for the school!

Niambh will now represent the area in the National competition next month. Well done and good luck in the next stage of the competition to Niambh.
