During the week beginning Monday 18 January 2016, our department is going to take part in the annual ‘spellathon’. Spellathon is a sponsored spelling competition that this year will raise funds for the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice. Last year we raised over £700.00 for this important charity.
Your child will be asked to learn words from a spelling list of ‘geography’ words and then spell those words in class on the Spellathon day.
A Sponsorship Form is on the back of this circular and I would ask that students return all sponsorship money by Friday 12 February 2016.
