On 24th May, 40 Year 10 and Year 11 pupils attended a theatrical special effects make-up workshop hosted by the Drama Department and delivered by Louise Loughran from “Doll face House of Make-up.” The students enjoyed 2 hours of demonstrations and hands-on experimentation using silicone and professional “Out of Kit” make-up to create wounds, burns, scars etc. This was a really valuable experience for all involved and the students will go on to use these new skills in their Performing Arts and Moving Image Arts courses. The students also received a certificate on completion of the workshop. A great time was had by all.
