30 Jan Ulidia Young Reporters Training
On Wednesday 24th January a group of senior members of Ulidia Eco Team travelled to Oxford Island to participate in young reporter workshops.
The group took part in a series of workshops from the BBC and Belfast Exposed. During the event they learned the skills required to take photos to enhance environmental reporting. The group worked together with BBC staff to develop news reporting camera skills and enjoyed experimenting with the equipment. Written report planning was also covered by the BBC and learners had the opportunity to plan their young reporters reports for this year.
The senior members of the team will now pass on their new found skills to the other members of the eco team during this Friday’s training session in preparation for completion of young reporters for the environment environmental reports.
