Charity Concerts

Charity Concerts

On May 1st and May 2nd, there are two charity concerts to raise money for the Integrated Education Fund. All proceeds of both brilliant concerts are going to the IEF and therefore going to help our schools.

On Friday 01 May, the Donaghadee Male Voice Choir will be performing to a ‘captive’ audience when they sing at Crumlin Road Gaol. They have locked in two Yorkshire choirs, from Thurnscoe and Barnburgh, to the event, and the concert is sure to appeal to music fans. Come along and judge for yourselves! The evening will include refreshments in the Governor’s Corridor – no porridge, but tea and buns (we don’t have a bar licence…). In a sentence? A great evening’s fun!

Contact Brian or Gemma at the IEF (028 9033 0031) for bookings and they’ll give you the big cell.

If you’re unavoidably detained on the Friday, join the choirs on Saturday 02 May for another great musical extravaganza in the beautiful Ulster Hall. We’re very excited that the guest artist is BBC ‘The Voice’ winner, Andrea Begley and there’ll also be a special appearance of the combined choirs of St Malachy’s College and Hazelwood Integrated College. Tickets are available from the Ulster Hall.
