24 Jun After School Computing Club
A group of Year 9 pupils attended an after-school Computing Club for six weeks. The pupils had the opportunity to learn the programming aspects of Computing.
Each pupil designed and created a game using Scratch (a visual programming language used to create games and animations). Pupils also studied some basic HTML code where they created a website using HTML. They also gained some knowledge on the process of creating an App – to the completed App being made available in the App Store!
Every one thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I was especially impressed by the enthusiasm each of the pupils showed!
The pupils each received a certificate of achievement for attending the club and gaining a good understanding of programming!
