Message From The Principal

Message From The Principal

It’s with heavy heart I write this letter to the parents of the students here at Ulidia Integrated College.

At its meeting on 27th January 2016, I informed the members of the Board of Governors that this would be my final year as Principal of Ulidia Integrated College. My last day in office, before I retire, will be June 30th 2016.

I have had the pleasure and honour of leading this great college for the past 19 years, from its early uncertain existence on a hockey pitch in Whitehead to becoming one of the top performing non-selective schools in East Antrim.

During that time I have watched it grow from 63 pupils to its current enrolment of 580 pupils.  Every single day has been a tremendous pleasure. There is still much more that needs to be done to maintain our excellence and I think it is the opportune time for a younger person to take over the helm and lead the school to new heights.

May I say it has been a pleasure partnering with you and our teachers over the years to educate the young learners of our college.  Thank you for all your support over the years.

Sincerely,

E Martin

Principal
