27 Apr The Big Spring Clean
Throughout April 2016, the eco team from Ulidia Integrated College visited their adopted spot which is Carrickfergus Castle car park. While there the team collected litter and were pleasantly surprised to find that the area was the cleanest that we have ever found it – maybe all our hard work is paying off?
Only one bag of litter was collected by the team which was mostly waste paper and crisp packets but most was found around the bins which made us think that maybe it had blown out after being initially placed in the bin. Some passers-by stopped to thank and congratulate the eco team on their hard work and for taking care of this important area to our community.
Well done to the eco team for looking after our local community.
