I would take this opportunity to remind you of the following:
YEAR 10 OPTIONS INFORMATION AFTERNOON:
Year 10 Options Information afternoon will be held on Wednesday 24 February 2016 from 1.30pm until 3.15pm for Year 10 pupils and their parents.
EARLY CLOSURE WEDNESDAY 24 FEBRUARY 2016
School will finish at 12.30pm for all pupils not in Year 10. Transport will be available at this time.
YEAR 12 CAREERS CONVENTION
A Careers Convention which has been organised by the local Education Partnership Group will take place in Carrickfergus Leisure Centre on Tuesday 1 March 2016. All Year 12 pupils are expected to attend. Transport will be supplied.
INTEGRATED EDUCATION WEEK
Integrated Education Week runs from Friday 26 February until Friday 4 March 2016. Friday 4 March is an ‘odd sock/tights day’. Pupils are asked to bring £1.00 with the proceeds going to the Integrated Education Fund who have always been very supportive of Ulidia Integrated College.
YEAR 12 OPTIONS INFORMATION AFTERNOON
An Options afternoon, to assist with A Level / BTEC choices will be held on Wednesday 9 March 2016 from 1.45pm until 3.15pm. A more detailed circular regarding the Options process will be sent separately.
** EARLY CLOSURE ** WEDNESDAY 9 MARCH 2016
Please note school will end at 12.30pm for all pupils except Year 12 pupils wishing to return to Sixth Form. This is to facilitate an Options afternoon for pupils and their parents. Transport will be available at this time to take pupils to the train station. The school bus will be available for those pupils who live in Islandmagee/Ballycarry.
YEAR 12 OPTION CHOICE INTERVIEWS
Interviews will take place on Wednesday 16 March 2016. Parents will receive a letter allocating an appointment time between 3.30pm and 5.30pm.
EXCEPTIONAL CLOSURE
The college will be closed on Thursday 17 March 2016.

Parents will meet with their Child’s Form Teacher. An appointment time will be recorded in their planner.
NON-UNIFORM/TALENT COMPETITION/EARLY CLOSURE
The annual Talent Competition will take place on Tuesday 22 March 2016. This will be a non-uniform day. The cost per pupil is £1.00 with the proceeds going to charity. The college will close at 12.30pm and normal transport will be available.
EASTER HOLIDAYS
The college will be closed from Wednesday 23 March 2016 until Friday 1 April 2016 inclusive.
TERM 3
Term three commences on Monday 4 April 2016 which is a ‘Week 2’.
