Ulster Wildlife Trust visit Ulidia Eco Team

On Friday 12th May, Shanna Rice from Ulster Wildlife Trust visited the eco team to help the group with their young environmental leadership programme. The eco team have been working on the environmental leadership programme this term and hope to share their experiences via the school website next month.

The group made bird feeders by recycling household containers and designing unique and interesting shapes with them to become multipurpose bird stations. Some very exciting designs were created including a multipurpose bird bath and feeder combo by the McMullan brothers. All pupils involved had the opportunity to take their creation home and to install it in their garden.

Well done to all involved!
