Year 8 Raise Money For The N.I Cancer Fund For Children

Year 8 took part in a Read On to improve literacy and emphasise the importance of reading and school attainment.

The year group also raised much needed funds for The Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children.

Rebecca, a representative from the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children, visited Ulidia Integrated College on Tuesday, 2nd December, and she gratefully accepted a cheque for £525. It was presented to her by Jonny a Year 8 pupil who received a special certificate from Rebecca as he raised a staggering £81 for the Fund. Well done, Jonny!

Ulidia Integrated College wishes to thank all the Year 8s who took part in the Read On, and their parents and relations who contributed generously to this super charity.
