Ulidia student gets a glimpse into the world of Law with the Living Law Programme

Earlier in the year one of our students Bethaney Hughes applied and was successful in gaining a place on the ‘Living Law’ programme. This programme was established by the Attorney General to give people an insight into careers with the Law sector and also allowing a greater understanding of the law itself.

Bethaney has had a number of fantastic opportunities thus far including a “Day in the Life” of a Barrister, visiting Parliament buildings and meeting with the Speaker of the Assembly. In the coming months Bethaney may also have to present a mock bail application at Laganside Courts. This has been a wonderful experience for Bethaney who hopes to have a career in the Law sector in the future.
