19 Dec CLC Rugby Match Report
On Thursday 15th of December, Carrick Grammar invited both Ulidia and Carrick College to their ground at Irwin Park for a friendly CLC rugby game. The match was played with a combined Ulidia and Carrickfergus College side, with 11 Ulidia players and 7 Carrick College players. Although the two schools came together on the day, a lot of the boys involved play together at Carrickfergus Rugby Club. Moreover Mr Kidd and Mr Greenaway from Carrick College also coach some of the boys at Carrickfergus Rugby Club.
Full time score: Carrick Grammar 15 – 7 CLC.
Special mentions go to try scorer Sam (12BLL). Furthermore there was a few great performances and strong running from Robert (12BLL) and Matthew (12BLL) in the pack. Finally last mention goes to Ciaran (12BLL) who had a good match with the boot at out-half.
