Sports Studies Students Visit RADAR Centre

Year 13 and 14 Sport Studies students took a trip to the RADAR Safety Centre, located at the Sydenham Harbour Estate. The centre prides itself in educating children and young people on the dangers of everyday life through interactive and fun workshops provided by their interactive safety and life skills education centre.

The pupils looked at physical risks and dangers within the home, social risks outside of the home and how to prevent or minimise their impact, which was led by extremely engaging staff members at RADAR. The group finished with competitive team building skills where the year 13 and 14 pupils went head to head in races and obstacles.

Ulidia would like to thank the Centre and its incredible staff for making the experience so informative and fun to prepare the pupils for their Risk Assessment unit in their Level 3 course. We would also like to thank Cool FM for providing the prize via their competition last year.
