The following types of behaviour will not be tolerated as they impact the quality of teaching and learning in the classroom:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"content-list\"><li>Inappropriate language<\/li><li>Interrupting demonstrations<\/li><li>Refusal to co-operate with staff<\/li><li>Being unprepared for class<\/li><li>Defacing\/destroying school property<\/li><li>Missing work deadlines<\/li><li>Lateness to school or lessons<\/li><li>Rudeness to staff<\/li><li>Not following instructions<\/li><li>Talking over teacher\/others<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The following 3 step procedure is used to address negative behaviour in the classroom:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ulidiacollege.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/B4L-steps-1.svg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32339\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WARNING:<\/strong> If my negative behaviour continues or is deemed more serious the consequences will be determined by my Head of Year or a member of Senior Staff.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A clear structure of informal and formal sanctions is used by teaching staff to reinforce our standards and expectations for both work and behaviour.
