{"id":7085,"date":"2013-04-24T10:46:19","date_gmt":"2013-04-24T10:46:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ulidiacollege.com\/?p=7085"},"modified":"2013-04-24T10:47:11","modified_gmt":"2013-04-24T10:47:11","slug":"ulidia-yr12-btec-sports-studies-pupils-show-their-leadership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ulidiacollege.com\/2013\/04\/ulidia-yr12-btec-sports-studies-pupils-show-their-leadership\/","title":{"rendered":"Ulidia Yr12 BTEC Sports Studies Pupils show their Leadership"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As part our Year 12 BTEC Sports Studies course we had to organise a sports event.<\/p>\n<p>Our class agreed on an indoor football tournament for our Year 8 pupils (Boys and Girls).<\/p>\n<p>Our aim was give the first year students a fun experience playing sport.<\/p>\n<p>We had 58 participants in total who took part in the event<\/p>\n<p><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><i>\u201cThe whole process was exciting and we got practical hands on experience of the vast amount of planning that\u2019s required to run a successful event\u201d.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p>All our events team had a role and various responsibilities before, during and after the event.<\/p>\n<p>We even got to design and order up our own hoodies with our own initials and events team on the back.
