Ulidia students win free gym membership

Last week two members of the Gym Co team visited Ulidia Integrated College, to give a talk to our sixth form PE students on the importance of exercise and nutrition for a healthy balanced lifestyle.

In addition to their exercise and nutritional advice, a month’s free gym membership was also up for grabs for those able to carry out the plank challenge for the longest period of time. All very keen they competed for the prize.

Most of the students dropped out around the five minute mark. Two students, Luke Roe and Tom Wilson were the last two standing before finally stopping around the seven minute mark and in doing so won themselves a month’s free gym membership. All sports studies students and staff received free day passes. They thoroughly enjoyed the session and are looking forward to using their free passes in the next few weeks.
