19 Jun Year 11 Visit The Youth Fair At Glenfield Community Centre
The Year 11 students visited the Youth fair at Glenfield Community Centre on Tuesday 11th February 2014.
This is an annual youth fair organised in the local Carrickfergus area and all 4 local schools attended. A range of issues and organisations were represented at this Youth Fair, covering social, health and emotional well-being, and career-linked issues for young people in our area.
Pupils were invited to complete a questionnaire at the fair, and two completed questionnaires were chosen at random to receive gift vouchers in Year 11 Assembly. This was presented by Mr Billy Ashe, from Carrickfergus Borough Council.
Jonathan Hutchinson received a voucher for £25 and Michael Shevills, a voucher for £15.
