ME, WE, OUR WORLD

ME, WE, OUR WORLD

This week pupils of Ulidia Integrated College have taken part in a variety of activities to celebrate integrated education and raised money for the Integrated Education Fund in the process.  It was a privilege for Ulidia to be invited to Stormont to celebrate Integration Week.  This year the theme was ME, WE, OUR WORLD and our school joined with many other integrated Primary and Secondary Schools to support and hear how others celebrate ‘integration’.

Mrs Bell, Naomi Smyth, head prefect and Niall Clarke, deputy head prefect, watched a drama by Blackwater Integrated, listened to the choir from Priory College and heard how Rowandale won funding of £25,000 for a new playground via the use of ICT.

They were joined by the annual sponsor, Trevor Lunn and politicians from around the province as we, together, acknowledged the thriving work of integrated education and the 22,000 children who currently are privileged to be part of it.
