24 Apr Year 8 Rugby Success
The Year 8 rugby season culminated in a tournament held at Carrickfergus Rugby Club. The boys were rewarded for all their hard work this year and demonstrated their progression with a 2nd place overall in the event. They made it through a tough group with three wins against Dunclug, Boys Model and Downshire. In a closely fought final the ten students eventually ran out of steam against CarrickfergusCollege, but all were a credit to the school throughout the day. There were stand out performances from Ciaron Wilson, Joel McNiece and Dylan Hemy. Well done to all those involved on the day and everyone who has been involved in training throughout the year.
