04 Jun School Vegetable Patch
The school vegetable patch was planted this week with lots of fresh vegetables that will grow over the summer.
Students from Ulidia Integrated College planted cabbages, leeks, lettuces, onions, and brussel sprouts in our vegetable patch in the hope that they will grow big and tasty for September! The Brussel sprouts will be ready for the Christmas dinner in December.
The seedlings were planted by the eco team and grown in the school greenhouse, and are now big enough to survive outside, hopefully there wont be any more frost this summer to damage them?!
We are now looking forward to tasting our vegetables next term!
