06 Mar STEM Bus Makes A Welcome Return To Ulidia
GCSE and A Level students got an opportunity to get their hands on over £100,000 worth of hi-tech microscopes. The 3-D microscope and electron microscope at over £30,000 each were the stars of the show. We could even see a pollen grain that had landed on an eye of a fly. Pupils were able to make up their own slides and see blue cheese like they have never seen it before.
All pupils thoroughly enjoyed the session, aimed at encouraging more pupils to follow a career in the areas of science, technology, engineering and maths.
