16 May Suicide Talk for Young People in Carrickfergus
SACN would like to invite young people to attend a Suicide Talk in Carrickfergus Library on Wednesday 23rd July 2014 at 1.00pm. This session will last for approximately one hour and has been funded by PHA northern area. Dare to Stretch will be facilitating the session and certificates will be presented to participants as this is Level 1 Suicide Prevention Training.
The session aims to:
* Help us to make direct, open and honest talk about suicide easier
* Help us to be alert, understanding and compassionate
* Help us know where to find support for others and ourselves
* Reflect on what is expected within our job and volunteer roles
Who is it for?
This session is specifically targeting Young People aged 16+ Level 1 Suicide talk is an ideal starting point for young people who would like to be better prepared and able to deal with the above issues.
How much does it cost?
This session is FREE to participants as Public Health Agency, northern area have funded Dare to Stretch to facilitate in the community.
