02 May Year 12 Interview Skills Day
On Friday 11th April, Year 12 pupils took part in the annual Interview Skills day. A number of local employers volunteered to help out for the day and work with the students to help them develop more of an understanding of how to be successful in interviews in the future.
The day began with the pupils taking part in a number of fun and interactive activities to help them prepare for their interview. During the second part of the day, pupils then took part in a mock interview with a local employer, having the opportunity to develop their ability to be successful in any interview they may take part in, in the future. The day then ended with a final group discussion on the experiences and what had been learnt, as well as learning who had been successful and got the job!
All pupils and employers that took part in the day felt that this provided a valuable and worthwhile experience to help prepare the pupils for life beyond their school years.
Ulidia would like to take this opportunity to thank all those that were involved in the day for giving up their time and volunteering to take part in what was another successful event in Ulidia Integrated College.
