16 Dec Year 11 Students Visit Kilroot Power Station
On Friday 12th December a group of Geography students from Year 11 visited Kilroot power station. The students were there to meet Davy Elliott, Compliance Manager at AES who congratulated them on their fantastic presentation during the AES Eco Challenge. As part of the Eco Challenge, the group had presented an Energy App during a dragons den style event.
The students were given a tour of the power plant and were allowed to visit the control room and generator.
