11 Feb Travel and Tourism Students Welcome A Visitor From The University of Ulster
On Monday 9th February, the Travel and Tourism department was visited by Lucia Campbell from the University of Ulster. Lucia Campbell is the Associate Head of Department for Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University.
Lucia spoke about life as a student at each of the campuses before looking at the courses on offer including International Travel and Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management. The students also heard about the progress of some past Ulidia students who are already at the University of Ulster.
Some students have already applied to study in the department next year and enjoyed meeting their soon to be new head of department. They were excited at the opportunities for placements within the industry both at home and abroad and some of the Year 13 students are now looking at the possibility of applying for these exciting areas of study.
