08 Nov Year 13 Students improve their communication skills
Gareth Adams from Jordanstown School came in to talk to the Year 13 Health and Social Care students on 27th October. As part of their BTEC Level 3 course, the students study types of communication and barriers to communication.
Mr Adams shared his experience of working with students who are deaf or have visual impairments and spoke about the strategies used to overcome such barriers to communication and how specific needs are met.
