10 Nov Year 14 Mental Health Talk
On the 9th November, Beth Gibb from Action Mental Health visited Ulidia Integrated College to speak to the Year 14 Health and Social Care class about mental health.
The students are currently completing a unit on Mental Health Issues and this was extremely beneficial for their coursework. The main topics covered were the types of mental health illnesses, the treatments for these and the negative stigma associated with mental health.
The Year 14 students were also happy to receive stress management tips for their upcoming exams along with leaflets and sources of support. We would like to thank Beth for providing us with information about such an important topic in life.
