On Thursday 24^th November, a group of 15 students from years 8 – 13 were chosen to attend an Anti-bullying training workshop run by the Diana Award.  The event which took place in Carrickfergus Grammar school was attended by students from a number of local schools, giving the young people an opportunity to work together and share their ideas and experiences.  This included interactive activities with different scenarios and writing up action plans for their innovative ideas that they can bring back to Ulidia.

 

The session provided inspiration, practical ideas and top tips that our group will need to work on preventing bullying and ensuring that everyone continues to feel safe and happy in our school.  

 

The following pupils have been appointed as Anti-Bullying Ambassadors for Ulidia and will receive a certificate of acknowledgment of their participation in the training event:
