Positive Discipline: Rewards!

Positive Discipline: Rewards!

As we come to the end of another busy term and the first where our new Positive Discipline structure has been in place, students have been benefitting from spending some of their hard earned credits.

On Friday 16th December, a group of Year 12 and 6th Form students were released from school to visit the Christmas Market in Belfast and to do some last minute Christmas shopping and some 6th Form students spent some of their credits on a pizza lunch on Monday 19th December. Some students have also benefitted from free lunches and snacks from our canteen.

We are delighted to announce that our new rewards system is supported by Flipping Crepes, a local company who have very generously donated vouchers for a free milkshake or crepe. Lots of students in Years 8-11 have received their first voucher and will enjoy this treat over the Christmas holidays. More vouchers will be up for grabs next month too. A huge thanks to Daryl at Flipping Crepes for the extra support – it is very much appreciated!

We look forward to introducing new rewards in the new term and wish everyone a very happy Christmas and peaceful New Year!
