Year 9 are studying weather and climate this term in their Geography lessons. Within this unit the students will learn about climate patterns across the UK, and the factors which have created these patterns. Learners will also explore the three types of rainfall and how to measure weather.
9CHD have begun to explore microclimates within Ulidia Integrated College by taking part in fieldwork on the school grounds, to monitor weather conditions in specific sites around the school. Within this project learners will develop skills in investigating weather conditions, identifying patterns and using prior learning to explain the patterns that they find.
