On Tuesday 28th March, the final training session took place for all Junior hockey teams. A series of awards were presented to pupils to highlight the dedication and success the girls have had this year. Notable mention must go to the 6 pupils awarded “Coaches Player of the Year” who have demonstrated a superb attitude to training alongside an excellent level of performance.
This year we have regularly had over 30 pupils attending training each week and we would like to encourage anyone else interested in hockey to come along next year. A special thanks to all the coaches who have given up their time after school; Mrs Montgomery, Miss Murphy, Miss McWhirter and Miss Montgomery.
