Livestock and Meat Commission Visit

Students from Year 11 Food and Nutrition and Year 11 Contemporary Cuisine were treated to a visit from the Livestock and Meat Commission on Monday 9th October 2017. The classes were combined for a cookery demonstration from Hilary Stevenson, who talked to the students about the Eatwell Guide and including meat as part of a balanced diet whilst making Chilli Con Carne and โ€˜Yummy Lamb Curryโ€™. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the finished result and came away with an LMC recipe book to try the recipes at home.
