15 May Welcoming Sir Henry Schachter
On Monday 13th May, Ulidia Integrated College had the privilege of welcoming Sir Henry Schachter.
Henry is a Holocaust Survivor who visited a number of Year 10 History classes. Henry shared his incredible story with our students of how he fled first to Poland, then to Belgium to escape the Nazis. His story of survival during WW2 was a powerful lesson, that gave our students an insight into Nazi Germany. Our students will study this topic further in GCSE History.
It was our pleasure to have Henry at Ulidia Integrated College.
