Litter Picking in The Community

Litter Picking in The Community

On Friday 5th November students from the Eco team took part in a litter pick down at Carrickfergus Castle. The students braved a windy Friday evening to collect litter that had blown out of bins and that had been trapped in the vegetation in the area.

Students from Ulidia have adopted this area in the ‘adopt a spot’ programme. The group were pleased to find only a little litter on this trip to their adopted spot. This was the third litter picking trip to our adopted spot this calendar year.

Mrs Patterson says a big THANK YOU to all those who gave their Friday evening to help keep our school community clean and tidy.
