Students in Year 10 have been learning about rivers this term. They were challenged to build a model of either a waterfall, meander or a drainage basin. The aim of the task was to reinforce classroom learning as well as to create a positive opportunity to be creative with family and friends. The results this year were outstanding.
Many students demonstrated resilience as their first attempt didnโt work out and they had another go, some students demonstrated determination as they carved out time to make their model against other time commitments. Integration was shown as many students worked together with others to create their model. All students demonstrated excellence in their work.
Well done to everyone who took part, house points were given for engagement in the task.
House outcome was –
1st Chester
2nd Magee
3rd Olderfleet
4th Carrickfergus
