09 Feb Year 8 Boys Rugby Success (Ulidia 20 Monkstown 5)
Blue skies and sunshine made for perfect playing conditions for the Year 8 boys first away rugby fixture on Friday 6th February 2015. The boys came out of the blocks strong and scored two early tries in the first half. In the second half despite numerous efforts to stop him, the biggest player on the Monkstown team broke through and scored Monskstown’s first and only try.
The Ulidia boys continued the game with some excellent runs on attack (scoring two more tries), this was met by some equally good tackling from the Monkstown team. Overall it was a really good performance by the Ulidia boys and hopefully they can produce a similar performance against Parkhall at home this Friday.
