Another Successful Year For Ulidia Students

Another Successful Year For Ulidia Students

I am delighted that our Sixth Form students have once again exceeded, not just the schools high expectation and targets, but also those set out by the Department of Education for Northern Ireland to benchmark and measure academic success and high quality teaching and learning.

98% of our sixth form students have attained three or more ‘A’ Levels or equivalent, with 61% of all results being at A* or A grade. As an indication of excellence, I am pleased to note that 70% of our students gained three or more A*-C grades.

At AS level our students continued to surpass the excellent results of the previous year’s cohort.

Personally, I would like to congratulate all of our Sixth Form students and the teaching staff of the college for their endeavour and dedication over the last two years. In particular, I would like to commend the top ten students who achieved three or more A*-A grades.

This has culminated in the students achieving another excellent set of examination results for which we are all very proud.

I would also like to congratulate those students from the other schools in the town who have studied with us as part of the Carrickfergus Learning Community.

On behalf of the Board of Governors and staff, may I wish all the students the very best for their future.
