11 Jun Money Skills Workshop
Year 9 pupils had the opportunity to take part in a life skills workshop, the workshop was taken by Emma Morrison from Business in the Community and was held in the Sixth Form Centre at Ulidia Integrated College.
The workshop entitled ‘Money Skills’, aimed to give students the opportunity to learn about the processes involved in opening a bank account. It also encouraged student awareness of different approaches to situations that require a financial decision. Pupils were also given the opportunity to develop and manage a budget and understand the concept of ‘breaking even’.
