On Tuesday 13th December, Year 13 Double Performing Arts pupils welcomed a group of residents from Fergus Fold in Carrickfergus, for a performance of ‘The Good Old Days’, followed by high tea in the Drama Studio.

The pupils have been studying a storytelling unit as part of their Performing Arts course and decided that they would like to carry out a storytelling project with the elderly. For the past six weeks the pupils have visited the fold, sharing stories and making memory boxes of each resident’s life. This performance saw the pupils bringing each resident’s stories to life through drama.  Each resident was also delighted to leave with a hamper which was made up of a range of goodies donated by sixth form students.
