SCHOOL UNIFORM
I would like to remind parents of the rules regarding school uniform and in particular, school shoes. Please note the following:
- We respectfully ask for co-operation in terms of adherence to school uniform
- Clear guidance is offered on the uniform list and is also found on Pages 10 and 11 of the student planner
- Shoes must be plain black – canvas shoes and boots are not permitted
- Medical reasons for any variation of school uniform should be accompanied by a medical note from a GP or other professional
I appreciate your support in maintaining a high standard of appearance.

Please keep the college informed of changes to address and telephone numbers. It is very important that we have the correct mobile number for our text messaging system.
END OF TERM 1
School finishes on Friday 18 December 2015 at 12.30pm. This is a non-uniform day. School transport will be available at this time to take pupils to the train station. The school bus will be available for those pupils travelling to Ballycarry / Islandmagee.
TERM 2
Term 2 commences for pupils on Monday 4 January 2016. This is a Week 2. Parents are reminded that school starts at 8.55am.
EXAMINATIONS/CONTROLLED ASSESSMENTS-YEARS 11, 12 & SIXTH FORM
Internal examinations / controlled assessments commence on Wednesday 6 January 2016. Please encourage your son/daughter to come prepared to examinations with the correct equipment and text books and to revise thoroughly in the weeks prior to examinations.
