20 Mar Health and Social Care enjoy visit from Jordanstown School
Mrs Moore’s BTEC Level 3 Health and Social Care class are currently studying a unit of work on Communication.
The class took part in a communication workshop with Gareth Adams from Jordanstown School. He is a specialist in the area of teaching pupils with visual and hearing impairments.
The class enjoyed experiencing what it may be like for a pupil with a visual impairment wearing glasses to give an insight to different sight conditions whilst also using their senses such as touch to communicate.
We are looking forward to making further links and working with pupils from Jordanstown Schools later in the year.
